Welldoo Universal in 2005 has created a new website for the French foundation “Chirurgie Vasculaire Nouvelle, Marseille” organiser of the European Vascular Course-Meeting.
As the organisers wanted to give their web-publications a more contemporary layout, we developed the new EVC-Website on our content management system powered by MDPro to enhance the marketing of one of Europe’s best Annual Symposia for vascular surgery.
Design work on upgrading the website has been started in November and the implementation began mid December 2005. The entire process, after the first reunion was handled via e-mail, a few phone calls and using instant messaging. The new website offers many functions such as online registration, simple and fast navigation tools.
Welldoo-Web-Ware Solution is a content management system, very easy and fast to learn. This has enable the EVC–MEETING organisation to manage their website and update its contents all by themselves! It always is in Welldoo-Universal’s interest to make our customers as independent as possible and have a maximum of freedom at affordable cost. But we were charged to generate content which we did in conjunction with the two founders.
Welldoo-Universal supported the European Vascular Course, when they were heading off to improve and intensively promote their online and offline presence. Welldoo-Universal worked close with the Management to develop these new web-pages as an efficient online tool for reaching their clients, vascular surgeons all over the world.
The European Vascular Course from the beginning has a unique concept and became an excellent educational event for vascular surgery. It was founded by Professor Alain Branchereau, at that time chief of vascular surgery of the La Timone Hospital in Marseille and Prof. Michael Jacobs, chief of vascular, cardiac, general and plastic surgery as well as cardiology in the Akademisch Ziekenhuis in Maastricht/the Netherlands. Prof Jacobs, at the same time is the chief of the department of vascular surgery in the University hospital in Aachen, Germany.
He is probably the first surgeon with an assignment in two neighbouring Universities within two different European countries.
Welldoo Universal assisted the EVC - organisation in getting more attention online following a marketing plan, we had created and followed - so the response to the new communications were excellent and yielded great progress. We introduced a monthly newsletter, edited by M. Lippisch in cooperation with Mr. Jacobs, and generated interviews with prominent vascular surgeons and produced interesting articles attracting a lot of attention to the European Vascular Course. This newsletter sent out to more than 10.000 surgeons seemed to serve the organisation very well and yielded an enormous growth of the frequency of visits to webpages and as such increased the brand equity and the popularity of the EVC!
